Exciting Updates!

A few significant and exciting updates about the blog and some projects I’m working on.

I’m trying to update/expand the Disputed Questions platform. As part of this, I’ve upgraded to a regular domain (disputedquestionsblog.com, as opposed to the previous disputedquestionsblog.wordpress.com). I may be updating the look and layout of the site as well. Honest question for readers: what do you think of our current design? Like? Hate? Indifferent? Let me know.

I had planned on getting a new post out this week — yesterday, actually — but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. In the meantime, though, I’ve made one of my previous posts into a video essay format: Defending the 24 Thomistic Theses #1. It’s basically the same content as the post here on my blog, but I thought some people might appreciate the video format more. If people like it, I may try to do more of these.

Perhaps the most exciting news, however, is that I have a podcast in the works! I’m in the process of working on the first episode now, and I’m tentatively (very tentatively) aiming at having it done and releasing it this upcoming Wednesday. It will be related to but fairly different from my blog, and I’m hoping they’ll complement each other. So stay tuned for that.

Finally, I’m starting an email newsletter, which you can sign up for below. This will be different from just being subscribed to the blog. My goal is to send out information such as that contained above in emails, rather than actually posting them as blog posts.

As always, thanks for reading and following!

Success! You're on the list.

  1. Hi Harrison,

Cool news! Just a couple of things about the website layout, to answer your question. It looks and works well on mobile. I think the center column for your posts on desktop is a little puzzling though. Maybe it’s because I have a pretty wide monitor, but it causes links in your footnotes, etc. to flow into the right column over that dividing line. Not sure why.

I think the images you use look great, and I think overall the style/theme of the site works.

I’m looking forward to the podcast!

    All the best,
